Description

Rail clip is a component of railway fastening systems. It is used to fix the railroad track to the underlying baseplate and sleepers. The clamping force by rail clips helps to maintain the gauge and prevent the rail from moving in the vertical and horizontal direction relative to the sleeper. One extensively used type of rail clip is an elastic rail clip made of hot-pressed spring steel. Its energy produced at elastic deformation can alleviate the vibration and shock when trains move.

Fast clip is another type of elastic rail clip.

The fast clip is manufactured in the shape of letter M which is specially designed for the mechanized track renewals which requiring automated clipping machines or hand tools.

One of the key feature of the fast clip is the new plastic seal plate, which is used to seal the hole in the sleeper mould and is then cast into the sleeper.

The fast clip is designed as a whole system, all components of the fast clip system are delivered to site and pre-assembled on the sleeper. The fast clip is simply pushed onto the rail by means of a simple drive action.
