    ● Compromise fish plate

The compromise fish plate is a railway connector designed to link two different types of rail tracks. It consists of two separate sections – one installed on the outer side of the rail and the other on the inner side. The structure includes upper and lower working surfaces along the horizontal axis, with the back of the upper working surface extending upward to form a transitional part, creating a bridge arch shape along the direction of the fish plate. The compromise fish plate has a unique shape and is usually custom-made compared to the other two types of fish plates. And it is more difficult to manufacture and is mainly used in specific railway sections with special designs and requirements, such as railway turnouts.
